Great food processor at an unbelievably low price
I'm not much of a cook and don't use my food processor often, usually only when I'm making something for Christmas. I use a small Cuisinart food processor/blender that I bought at Costco many years ago; from the beginning, I had a hard time grinding vanilla wafers and chopped nuts because no matter how long I pulsed, there were always a few large chunks in each batch. Last week, such a small job finally became too difficult and I thought I'd give this very cheap food processor a try. I couldn't believe it, I had the wafers and nuts ground very finely in seconds, maybe 2 or 3 pulses, and not a single chunk. My Cuisinart never got to that point when it was brand new. At $22, it's an amazing bargain. No doubt serious cooks need something more substantial, but this food processor is perfect for my needs. I also love that all the parts fit together compactly for storage (photos attached).

Santa Came Early
had a much smaller food processor for almost twenty years, and would still be using it had the spring not popped out of the "on pusher" and flown into the ether. after a couple of months without it, the need for a replacement was obvious. decided to get a larger version, and after weeks of research and reading reviews (on amazon and elsewhere) and cogitating, I was ready to order. so happy with this choice!the processor is humongous compared to my old one. it's very light, and I have to say the plastic-chrome button is ridiculously flimsy and cheap, but I'll be extremely careful with it. the plastic bowl/cup and "pusher" and the plastic on the blade unit are thankfully much more substantial. the machine is loud when in use, but doesn't make my ears bleed. especially since it will do a big job in a matter of seconds.the first thing I did was make my usual "winter tonic" (keeps flu and colds at bay, and doubles as salad dressing). the photo shows how large this unit is. each of the five garlic bulbs is bigger than my fist, and the ginger is almost as big as the five bulbs. I peeled the garlic cloves and the ginger, put the cloves and ginger into the processor (whole), and everything was diced in fewer than ten seconds. afterward I did an xl piece of horseradish (then divided a mix of all three ingredients between two xl brown glass jars, and filled them to the brim with bragg's acv).I LOVE THIS PROCESSOR!!! so far, the only "negative" is that "chrome" button, but it's not bad enough for a star loss. I'll just consider it delicate and act accordingly. if it breaks, I can rig something else. the processor is HUGE and FAST. I'm happy. especially for the price!
