Me and my family just did a huge PCS move and had to stay multiple nights in a hotel. Knowing how financially draining moves are, I knew I had to figure out how to cook in our hotel rooms. I already own an 8qt pot, so I knew instant pots could cook just about anything. I have a family of 5 and was able to cook a pot of chili (on sauté) and surprisingly I had leftovers. The cooking capacity for pressure cooking is a lot smaller, so I’ve mainly used the sauté feature. It heats up pretty quickly after turning on and makes cooking meals quick and easy. Overall I think this 3qt is small but mighty and can really get what you need done. I’ve seen many people use this for camping, tailgating, and hotel stays. If you’re still thinking about it just do it! I plan on eventually buying the 6qt as well so I have all the sizes for holiday meals.

Our old pot lased many years and when it seals have been replaced several times, it was time to get the next generation of the same brand.These pressure cookers can be used as a Crock Pot also. As a child in the 1940 I remember the day my Aunt was cooking a meal in her cooker. I was in the yard playing and heard a loud bang and a scream!!!! I ran inside to see what was going on. My Aunt Matt was laughing, a little, and looking at the meal dripping off the ceiling and running down the walls. She was also wearing a good bit of the meal.The old pressure cooker had exploded!Today you would never see, or hear one of these models blow-up. They are built like a bank vault!!!!!
